Original and modified response categories of the Com-QOL-ID. Increasing cube sizes indicated increasing importance. Instead of grey two-dimensional cubes (a), flashy red three-dimensional cubes (b) were used to facilitate visual and tactile identification. Sad-to-happy faces indicated low-to-high satisfaction. Instead of colorless two-dimensional faces (c), brightly colored three-dimensional faces (d) were used to facilitate visual and tactile identification.
